Group Coaching Takeaways for May 19th

So I just left another GREAT group coaching session!

I just love getting my group together to discuss the AWESOME things that they are doing.

This group environment really allows everyone to get input and support from everyone preset and this can be very powerful for a number of reasons.

Todays group was for those people that have already found their passion and are now moving forward to pursue the work they love!

Here are some takeaways from todays group coaching Meetup:

  1. Think Of Different Ways to Monetize – Once you are found something you are passionate about there are tons of ways to monetize your business. The problem is that you (the person in the business everyday) has a hard time seeing new or different ways to do it. Having fresh eyes to take a look at things can lead to exciting things…right Bill 🙂
  2. Everyone Gets Stuck – just because you are doing work that you are passionate about does NOT mean that it will always be an easy road. You will get STUCK and need help! Becoming part of a group that is there to support you is critical.
  3. Don’t forget your personality – often times we get caught up doing the work we do and at times it can come across as robotic. If you are getting a different vibe from your audience take a look at how you have been communicating with them. You have to remember that they are there for YOU and your personality needs to shine through.
  4. Networking is POWERFUL STUFF – a lot of people don’t like networking and I used to be one of them. The thing that turned it all around for me was having a big WHY and passion for my new business. Once I had those things in place I wanted to network more and more. Since I began to network with a WHY the connections I have made have lead to awesome opportunities that I had never even thought before. If you have a reservation about getting out there to network you need to ask if your WHY is big enough and if you truly have passion for what you are doing.
  5. Marketing Is Critical – We talk about this a lot. You need to have the business skills if you want to build and run a successful business. Learning to market effectively is an absolute must when it comes to building your business. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THIS. Most people can SELL their product or services but need more prospects to sell to. Read and learn all you can on how to get leads for your business.
